Updated · July 2026Because every MagicEmbroi piece is made to order, choosing the right size matters. Use the charts below to find your fit, and follow our measuring tips for the most accurate result.

How to Measure
Use a soft measuring tape and, ideally, ask someone to help. Keep the tape snug but not tight, and measure over light clothing.
- Chest: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, under the arms and across the shoulder blades. Keep the tape horizontal.
- Length: Measure from the highest point of the shoulder, straight down to where you want the garment to end.
- Shoulder: Measure across the back, from the edge of one shoulder seam to the other.
- Sleeve: Measure from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve, with the arm slightly bent.
Easiest method: take a t-shirt you already own and love, lay it flat, measure across the chest just under the armholes, then double that number. Compare it to the "Chest Flat" column below.
T-Shirts — Regular Fit
Unisex sizing. "To Fit Chest" is your body measurement; "Chest Flat" is the garment laid flat and measured across.

Allow a tolerance of ±1 inch (2–3 cm) — garments are finished by hand.
Oversized T-Shirts — Drop Shoulder
Our oversized tees are cut wider with a dropped shoulder for a relaxed streetwear look. If you want a standard fit instead, order your regular size from the chart above.

Between two sizes? For a snug fit, choose the smaller. For a relaxed or layered fit, choose the larger. Still unsure? Message us before ordering — personalised pieces can't be exchanged for size.

For custom pieces, the placement you choose affects how much detail we can stitch.

Sending a photo for custom embroidery?
- High resolution — at least 1000 × 1000 pixels; larger is better for group photos.
- Well-lit and sharp — avoid blur, heavy shadows and dark backgrounds.
- Close-up subject — a single, prominent subject gives the cleanest detail.

Frequently Asked Questions
What sizes do you stock?
Our embroidered t-shirts and polos come in S, M, L, XL and XXL. If you need something outside this range, message us before ordering and we'll let you know what's possible.
Should I size up for an oversized t-shirt?
No. Our oversized tees are already cut wide with a dropped shoulder, so order your true size. If you want a standard fit, choose from the regular t-shirt chart instead.
Are measurements in inches or centimetres?
Both. Every chart lists inches, with centimetres alongside where it helps.
My measurement is between two sizes — what should I do?
For a snug fit choose the smaller size; for a comfortable or layered fit choose the larger. If you're unsure, message us before you order.
Can I exchange if the size is wrong?
Ready-made items can be exchanged within 7 days. Personalised and custom-embroidered pieces are made specifically for you and can't be returned unless there's a fault on our side — so please check the charts carefully before ordering. See our Exchange Policy.
What image quality is best for photo embroidery?
A clear, well-lit, front-facing image of at least 1000 × 1000 pixels. Single-subject close-ups give the sharpest results, and larger embroidery areas allow more faces and detail.
